"A little while ago I found some sculptures I made when I was 7 or 8 years old. All are of animals. It is so strange to think that this world is as important to me as it was then. I live with Nature - seeing deeply into the world of plants and animals inspires me, and through that lens I bring life into my sculptures. First carved in clay, they are changed into bronze, and so the temporary becomes eternal. Every day more and more animal species disappear from the face of the earth, some because men must have them to mount on their walls. These are the same animals that science now tells us feel pain and suffering and understand emotions. My hope is that my work will shine a light on these wondrous creatures, highlighting how incredible they are and how great the need is for their protection."

Techniques used
I work in many mediums: plaster, cardboard, paper, wood, wax, and my favorite, clay. Once the sculpture is completed, I take them to the foundry to become bronzed. A few of the techniques I use are lost wax and direct wax.
All my sculptures are original works (First Editions), and all have a specific number.
- Eight bronzes are numbered 1/8, 2/8, 3/8, 4/8, 5/8, 6/8, 7/8, 8/8.
- Trees and Butterflies are one of a kind - 4 each Artist's Proofs (EA) EA I/IV, EA II/IV, EA III/IV, EA IV/IV.
